10 Year Transit Service and Financial Plan
SBLBF, LLC produced a 10 year public transit plan for South Central Regional Transit District in 2022. Plan elements included public outreach efforts, a review of system routes and schedules, analysis of area demographics and a comparison of SCRTD’s services and performance to its regional peers.
Visalia Transit Vehicle Maintenance Study
SBLBF evaluated the maintenance function for Visalia Transit. The study included a comparison of system performance to other peers, review of shop layout and performance, analysis of system maintenance spending, and a final report of recommendations.
Transit Outside Contracting Assistance
SBLBF, LLC has assisted transit agencies with outsourcing transit services. We have also assisted private contractors with starting up, closing out or implementing contracted transit services.
Transit Agency Task Specific Assistance
SBLBF has provided agencies with independent cost estimates as part of an outsorcing procurement process; employee compensation studies; National Transit Database reporting compliance; and, reviews of bus routes, schedules and driver work assignment processes.
